Installation of the document generator tool will depend on which version of MMP you are using. MMP's folder installation locations changed as of version 0.38.
If you are using an MMP version of 0.38 or higher, you will need to manually place the needed files and register the .dll.
First, download the zip file with the needed .mmt and .dll files and copy it to the "C:\ProgramData\Manure Management Planner" folder.
Second, unzip the downloaded zip file to the same location.
Third, copy the .mmt file to your MMP version's Custom folder, located at
C:\ProgramData\Manure Management Planner\--version--\Custom
For '--version--', use '0.38', '4.0', etc., depending on your installed version.
(The .mmt must be present in the Custom folder of any and all MMP versions in which you wish to use it.)
Finally, register the .dll using the regsvr32 command. Open a command prompt and run:
C:\Windows\SysWoW64\regsvr32 "C:\ProgramData\Manure Management Planner\MMPCustom_MOWebTools\WebTools.dll"
Note:
- Be sure and use the quotation marks around the path or the path will get cut off and registration fail.
- The .dll is 32-bit, so you must use regsvr32.
- The command's location will depend on your operating system.
If an error is thrown, verify your regsvr32 command location and adjust the command as necessary.
For future MMP installations, just copy the .mmt into the Custom folder for the new version.
The .dll will continue to work unless it is moved, in which case, you will need
to re-register it at it's new location.
If you are using an MMP version prior to 0.38, you can install the tool by downloading and running the MMPWebTools.exe file. The installer will use the latest version of MMP found.
